Vivian Oystrick is currently a student in the Master of Social Work program at Laurentian University and works as part of Dr. Diana Coholic’s research team.  Vivian has worked in child welfare for 12 years and has an interest in enhancing resilience in children who come from adverse living conditions.  She supervises the Long Term Planning team at Sudbury Children’s Aid Society (CAS).  Vivian is completing her research thesis under the supervision of Dr. Diana Coholic and will be exploring gender differences in learning and participating in mindfulness-based arts-based programs for children in need.
